What is a Witness Test? How does it benefit exports?
Witness testing refers to the process in which engineers from foreign certification bodies visit a domestic laboratory to observe the testing process on-site and validate the data produced by the domestic laboratory, thereby eliminating the need to ship samples abroad for retesting. Arnool holds DEKRA, Intertek, and TÜV SÜD witness testing partnership qualifications, allowing certain projects to be completed locally at Suzhou, thereby eliminating the need for international sample shipping and reducing wait times.Accreditation
Suzhou Arnool What testing and certification services does it offer in which product areas?
Covering 9 sectors: new energy (EV charger, photovoltaic inverters), lighting fixtures, AEC-Q automotive certification, machinery and equipment, industrial components, home appliances, medical devices, audio-visual equipment, and robotics.Scope of service
Which export market certifications does Arnool cover?
Asia: CCC, CQC, SRRC, KC, PSE, BSMI, BIS, SPRING; Europe: CE, CB, GS, ENEC, UKCA, ERP; North America: UL, ETL, FCC, CSA, DLC; and NOM, among others.Scope of service
Is it possible to do one-stop testing and certification? How many institutions do I need to contact?
One provider is all you need. From interpreting standards, developing test plans, submitting samples for testing, filing for certification, to making corrections and retesting—everything is handled by the same provider. There’s no need to coordinate between multiple organizations, nor do you have to repeatedly explain your product’s background.Scope of service
If the same product is to be exported to multiple countries, can the certifications be processed at the same time?
Yes. Sharing a single set of test data across multiple countries can reduce duplicate sample submissions and duplicate testing. This is contingent on mutual recognition of testing standards; we will identify the items that can be shared during the planning phase.Scope of service
What can the EV charger communication protocol test do?
Testing related to the EV charger communication protocol covers the DIN 70121, DIN 70122, and ISO 15118 series, including interaction and conformance testing related to Plug-and-Charge (PnC) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) communication. Specific items must be confirmed based on the target market; please contact 0512-66186880.Scope of service
What tests are required for EV charger products exported to the EU?
This typically involves the EN 61851 series (charging systems), the EN 61000 series (electromagnetic compatibility), EN 60529 (degrees of protection), and the requirements of directives such as RoHS and WEEE. The actual list depends on the product type (AC charging station, DC charging station, or portable unit) and the target country; it is recommended to verify each item individually during the design phase.Scope of service
Where can I get testing done according to national standards? How do I contact them?
Conducted at the Suzhou local laboratory. The address is 168 Chunshenhu East Road, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou City; phone: 0512-66186880; email: service@arnool.com. You can also submit your request via the “Contact Us” page on our official website.Scope of service
Where can I get a full set of tests done?
Arnool Suzhou Laboratories can conduct testing at various levels—including complete units, components, and materials—covering categories such as safety, electromagnetic compatibility, performance, reliability, and protection ratings. Whether we can accept a specific project depends on whether the product category falls within the scope of CMA/CNAS accreditation; please submit product documentation for confirmation.Scope of service
Can standard interpretation and testing be performed at the same time?
Yes. Interpretation of regulations and standards is included in our service scope—during the planning phase, we’ll clearly outline the applicable standards, test items, and evaluation criteria before proceeding with testing, to avoid discovering any omissions after testing is complete. There is no additional charge for this portion of the service.Scope of service
How can you determine if a third-party testing laboratory is suitable for your product?
It mainly depends on the scope of accreditation. Each laboratory’s CMA/CNAS scope of accreditation includes a specific list of product categories and standards. First, verify whether your product category and the standards you intend to use are included in this list—even if a laboratory can test items outside its scope, the resulting reports may not be accepted during bidding or customs clearance.Scope of service
