CTF Stage 1 is a stage within the CB (International Electrotechnical Commission’s Organization for the Testing and Certification of Electrical Products) system; its full name is “Conformity Testing Facility Stage 1.” It signifies the CB TL or LTR’s recognition of and trust in the client’s testing facility, authorizing the facility to conduct all testing activities.
CTF Stage 1 accreditation is a crucial stage in the IECEE CB system, primarily referring to the process of conducting all testing at the client’s testing facility. During this process, staff from the CBTL (CB Testing Laboratory) or a Local Qualified Technician (LTR) will perform all necessary tests at the client’s testing facility using their own testing equipment, the client’s testing equipment, or a combination of both.
